Effective loop silicone washer for Olympus working elements WA22367A or similar. In combination with contact group’s (white cube) washer (also made from silicone) effectively prevents any leakage, which could cause damage of loop’s contacting system and also error message on coagulator and terminating the resection process. It has highly reliable and special installation principle. For applying this washer there is no need to make any modification of working element.
Similar technical decision (loop washer and white cube washer) could be applied to Storz monopolar and bipolar working elements, which would finally finish the unchanged Storz’s story about the very wet work during resectoscopy. Their decision to use teflon washers was mistaken right from the very beginning. For applying such type of washers to Storz working elements (mono- and bi-polar) these working elements must be slightly modified, though without disassembling, just using special tools. Also, together with these modifications, is possible to solve forever the “sparking trouble” inside the white cube.

The technology is the middle level of complicity, though again, using even the amateur CNC machine and a middle level technician for assembling, would guarantee the success.
