I'm running a problem on an Acuson Aspen Image Gateway 7.02. Yesterday working well, I booted up today . The memory check goes OK to 4 MB, then I get a "SCP 0002 Error - Press Any key to continue". When Key is pressed the machine goes thru the video/tests (slowly) until another error screen with lots of SCP error (with Hexa addresses information) asking for me to press anykey again. When pressed the aspen keyboad freezing rotactor and 2D Gain light ip. (No other). After a few reboot cycles, the power up self tests (color tests) do not start. (I have a video of the pb posted on youtube).
Any help would be appreciated . (Impossible to find the user manual on the net)
- or a power supply failure. Checked if there is a power supply error on the SVC? (A seven segment error display behind the back door) Anything besides a dot is an error.
Yes. There is a 7 segments diodes at the back. They are marked POWER SUPPLY ERROR. I have a RED diode visible when I start the machine. Could it be that ? I imported the machine from the united states, the seller had to change the power supply to fit 220v/50hz.
When the power supply is working fine you will have on the Power Supply Error display just a dot. You will have a power supply problem just when a number appears...
If you have just a dot then probably you have a falty ZSPC.
No number appears . You are right , only a small red dot near the LED 8 Digit which remaind dark.
I've checked the power supply which Looks ok. So It is probably the ZSCP board which is faulty. This board has a i386 DX chip. I see nothing burned on this card . There are 2 RAM like slots but ram is labelled Acuson. I fear swaping with old i386 mainboard rams will be a bad idea.
Would like to thank you much for your help. I ordered a new ZSCP card and solved my pb. Maybve is is the RAM. Anyway I changed the all card . I can carry on working and learning for my studies

Dear Philippe, there are two options:
- a falty ZSCP.
- or a power supply failure. Checked if there is a power supply error on the SVC? (A seven segment error display behind the back door) Anything besides a dot is an error.

I think you should check the voltage of power supply.if the power supply is normal, maybe the memory is fault.try to replay the memory.
