One of our all purpose chairs broke recently and I'm in need of parts. The cable that controls the foot release is severed and needs replacement. Here is the model # : apc20000 HAUSTED SN AP29216801515. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
AN EASIER SOLUTION so long as you have the plug or receptacle on the end: In every town of any size there is a [ computer or electronics ] cable company that can copy the cable you have and attach the "plug" you have to the new cable. In Houston there are several such companies
I am not sure what you need, are you looking for a electric connection cord or a mechanical release cable? If you can provide more information or the broken cable I might be able to help. Regards HG
I make mechanical cables for other equipment. Most cables are made from wire rope and swaged fittings. Any local shop that handles wire rope could probibly make the assembly you need, assuming that the fittings are standard.
If you are unable to find a wire rope fabricator in your area and there may not be one, contact me at hgorin@ix.netcom.com
I will give you my shipping address and I will see if I can have it made.
Some cables, including the ones I make use special fittings which may pose complications, generally not insurmountable.
