the probe is 4D3C-L.
the probe works as a 2D probe only.
when I press the live button on the control panel,a message appears "4D probe reference.Check cable,reseat probe in socket"
the problem is in the machine?or the socket of the probe?or the motor of the probe?or what?

maybe in motor(if it's not move),in connector or other.
You should restart the machine and reseat probe in socket to check it first.

First change te probe position if it the same problem check motor if it is working or not ,how to know change to other probe & back to probe again & put yor hand on the probe try to get the 4D mode

I prefer the speaking to be here,so that,all the people can see reason of the problem.
I changed from this probe to another one,and returned to the 4D probe,and presses the "live" button,the problem is still available.
the motor isn't working using the 4D mode.
the problem is not with your probe. the problem is with the high voltage supply responsible for running the 4D motor. Please replace that supply and it should work. This error is common in VOLUSON machines.
