A lot of failures of the PA modules and the main amplifier have been reported to us. After evaluation of the amplifiers we have sent to us, we found that a crucial repair will need to be done. We have identified several other design and manufacturing issues as well.
What are the failures your seeing? For some reason, Philips has raised the prices on the PA modules to $42k which is about equal with the cost of the whole amp we sell exchange..
We have the PA modules for about 70% off current list, brand new with MKS warranty.
The system it self, as you say has a BATTERY issues that was corrected with a FIRMWARE update that is available on PHILIPS INCENTER for download and as the S23, and S26 then system interconnects are lacking.
I would be happy to contact the factory is you think you have Manufacturing defects that need addressed.
We have about 28 of these in stock if you think you need a couple base units to test from.
Now we know why health care is so very expensive. I don't know how they justify the cost, perhaps it is simple corporate economics. I got a quote for a module several months ago and you are correct on the pricing.
We are still collecting data in order to implement the fix. Yet, so far it is working. We will need to get more feedback from people whom have bad PA board modules.
I don't have access to Philips Incenter and how does one get access? All we do is put a new battery in our S30 units. When I query the software version on all the amps we have seen, the version id and date hasn't change. I will need to look into this a little further.
I am not sure what you mean by the interconnects for the S23 and S26. We have developed a full diagnostics program to calibrate the S26 SSD and the S26 systems. We are looking to market a full test station in the coming months. We are also in the final stages in the development of software for the solid state units like the S30 series.
We don't plan to write software for the S23 at this time. Yet, there are many whom think they can repair and calibrate the S23/S24. I have done hundreds of S23 units here in Colorado. I have a feeling that the manufacture bought one from us and now they have implemented the upgrades in systems we have never worked on. Too funny, little do they know.
We would like to get more non working S30 chassis in for further evaluation.
