Is there a way to ghost a good copy of the hardrive for a 9800 without having to pay out the nose for a new one. We are always having problems with slow and missing images and their solution is new Hardrive, can the software be reloaded to HD what do I need to do this. The Service tech said nodes had to be wiped off and reloaded and this was something that had to be done by OEC we don't have software or capabilities to do this. Any help would be appreciated.
The hardrive is one of oec recall issues. There is nothing you can do other than buy a new formatted hard drive from oec. We have went through this process about 5 times here at Detroit Receiving. We tried ghosting the hard drive and have not been able to do so.
We have successfuly cloaned thos drives using a hardware cloning device. You just have to make sure the Long block adressing LBA is the same on the target drive
We had a problem with a very slow OEC workstation. I just hooked up the hard drive to a laptop (IDE to USB adaptor), and ran a simple chkdsk /f on it. Bad sectors were detected and successfully repaired.
This way the system was up on full speed again.
There is a way to clone the disk. It is a solution that works great for about 50 bucks.
Any one interested just email me.
I do not want to post this here, I may get in trouble with GE.

Mr. Vladimir, I work for a biomedical department and have HD issues with the OEC c-arm.
You mentioned that their is a way to mirror the disk.
I would appreciate it if you can tell me how this is done ?
Partition magic would'nt work.
We tried power suite ...? still machine not booting.
help?
