I am having problem in M mode of my acuson 128Xp doppler ie the image becomes white(as if maximum contrast)and peaks cannot be visualized.Other functions are normal.Any clues??
I have checked DPC but problem remains.Infact if DPC is disconnected M mode in Doppler stops functioning but in (B & W)M mode nothing happens but for Complete white image.
Is the Doppler strip completely white? If so, then ensure you have the ribbon cable between the IC and DCP. Removing the DCP will only cause more problems; you have to try replacing it to see if it will fix the problem. The other PCB in this path is the DAQ, but if the Doppler audio is OK then the DAQ is probably OK.
If the Doppler strip is not completely white, then you may want to email a picture to rick@4sonora.com or to me at jimc@4sonora.com so we can see what you are seeing.
If you still need help with the Prism 1000XP screw, please contact me at jmcclen@cableone.net. I have the manuals and can send you pages that could help.

Sounds like the DCP, if all other functions are normal.
