IQ CT Scanner Diagnostic Software

You can enable the expired diags if you have the battery style
system monitor PCB. It will have a round coin sized battery right
next to the microcontroller chip. From IQ>show_cnf , get the
expiration date of the chip. Then look in IQ>cal_del , select F6
just to view cal files, not delete, and get the most recent date.

Set the date before that date , but after the latest CAL file
with the touch panel, then power down. short the + to - on the
battery for at least 10 seconds. On power up green screen menu,
select option 6 (warning will delete any images so be sure they
are archived already) , and when you boot up diagnostics will
work. If they dont repeat this procedure. If you have the NVRAM
style board, Philips will sell you an "O" level chip for image
cals only, for a cost of ~$250 USD
Good luck, Dave[ Register to Reply ]
