During boot up of our machine a message is displayed "Software is not for diagnostic purpose". And after a transducer is selected another message is displayed "Software Sonopack is not licensed for this transducer".
This unit was not used for 3 months but earlier it was working perfectly with us.
Can somebody give some idea regarding this problem.
It look like your software is time licensed and the time is out. The message "Software is

You can make a single call to the local service dept and confirm. Perhaps anyone know how to bypass the program.

You need the serial number and another number written in the software platform, where you also write the string code in. If you are not registered, you have to buy the string code or it is possible you have a copy on a place in your Acuson.

You have lost your encryption strings due to the CVC battery failure. You will need to replace the two batteries and afterword you re-enter the encryption strings (If you do not have it Siemens can provide you)
To access the encryption strings, power the system up with no transducer hooked and when you are on the imaging screen press all at once :
CTRL+SHIFT+TEST+V
The test button is under the monitor near the reset.

With the machine on press RESET+M.
There will be a menu and on it a item to turn off the preventive maintance message....
