You have, probably, lost your encryption strings due to a problem in the CVC batteries.
To solve this, first you need to change the batteries, and then re-enter the encryptions.
HI,
Look like you lost the software codes. You may have to enter them manually. It is unique for each machine. Press shift, code, Test and V together to enter service setup.
Probably you may have tow replace two batteries.
It is located in one of the boards in the top compartment.
hope this help
i have a problem with my acuson 128XP/10,
where can i have or how can i get the encryption string for my acuson, i replaced the battery then the machine asked for the code.
thank you in advance, hope you can help me with my problem.
look inside the side pocket or under the top cover , you might find a printout of the strings , then you can re enter them after you replace the batteries , if you don't have it you can call Siemens and request a copy .

Look under the top cover - one of the boards has a CVC on the tag... After removing the board you will see two batteries the size of a quarter...
