Hello ,
I have an issue with a Siemens Acuson X300 PE.
The unit boot up normally and arrives in the state that you are ready to start the examination.
In the upper left of the monitor it recognises normally the connected probes but the problem is that you cannot see the cone of any conected probe.
even if you maximice the gain to 100%. But when you freeze the image the cone arrears cuted is sections of black and grey.
I have stored image to show you.
Has anyone had same more or less problem.
Can you help me please ?...

I assume it also but the difficult part of this is that the defect it is not constant. For example now is working normally.
Even so, I must choose between RC and TX board.Correct ?
The internal test that the unit has in service window says is all ok.
Could this be of an external problem ? Bad quality on the wall outlet or due to a malfuntion UPS ? (it is connected to a ups system)
If as you mentioned the problem is intermittent, then you will have to wait until it becomes permanent. One thing you can do in the meantime and that is take out the tx and rc and clean their contacts, then reset them again, it might be a case of false contact.
I have many problems with X300 PE, but I have not service manual of it.

that problem is at the front end, it can be the front end controller or a channel board(or transmitter / receiver.
