Curious if anyone has a procedure for disposing of AED's. We have a couple Physio's - CR Plus & LP500 - that are end of life. Physio recommends shipping to them, and we may do that - just curious what others are doing.
We have an electronics recycling company that takes all of our electronics to recycle, if they are too old or in too bad of shape to sell to a used equipment dealer. In the case of AEDs, defibs, and pumps, I would make sure that they are permanently disabled.
On AEDs and defibs, pulling the capacitors does it, unless you just want to take a hammer and take out some frustration...

Thanks Dean - I'll start looking for something like that in our area.

We have an agreement with local recycler to take electronic equipment, including medical equipment.
