Agfa - CR10 - error 10854
November 05, 2025 11:10
Dear all, good morning/afternoon,
I would like to request some assistance regarding the use of new cassettes in AGFA CR10-X digitizers.
In several units, we replaced the cassettes after the system displayed an error message indicating that the IP expiration date had passed. To resolve this, new cassettes were purchased from AGFA, with IPs set to expire in approximately 4 to 5 years. However, once these new cassettes were inserted into the digitizers, the following error was triggered: ARC1300 (10854).
According to AGFA’s local support representatives, there should not be any issues with using these new cassettes. Nevertheless, I have encountered this same problem in two different units so far. I have already performed a preventive cleaning of the internal area using the built-in brush to remove any dust or debris that might obstruct the laser. Despite this, the devices:
Sometimes do not recognize the cassette or its IP at all.
In other cases, the cassette is detected, but the scanning/reading process becomes noticeably slower before the error appears.
Has anyone experienced similar behavior or can offer any additional recommendations?
Thank you in advance for any guidance or shared experience.
