Agfa CR 12X software update

The CR12X is a digitizer, it doesn't connect to your PACS.
The AGFA NX workstation does all communication to RIS/PACS.
You are getting the digitzer mixed up with the nx workstation, they are separate modalities in a dicom system. NX workstation is what you need to log into to configure.
You need to access the NX configuration through the NX Configuration tool.
You need to log into windows with the CRService account and password. The administrator account by default is disabled.
Once you are in via crservice you then open the NX Configurator and configure NX to communicate with your RIS and or PACS. You will need your PACS AE Title, Port and IP.
You will also need to record the NX Workstation AE and you may need to build the resource in your PACS system.
Be warned, "YOU MUST LOAD THE ACTIVE OR CURRENT CONFIGURATION!!"
Do not load a default configuration, if you do you will wipe out the current configuration and have to start from scratch.
Once you have made your changes export your configuration to a configuration folder and then activate the configuration.

Again, the Digitizer doesn't communictate, it will only talk to the NX workstation and digitize cassettes to send to NX. NX does the image manipulation and dicom tag matching to send to pacs.

If you do not feel comfortable doing this you really should contact your regional AGFA service representative before you brick the system.
