AGFA CR 25 CR READER

Our CR 25 CR Reader is dropping the larger image plates(14"X17"). We removed the most worn image plates and changed the suction cups on the reader, and that improved the problem, but it is still dropping plates.
Does the pump motor get weak on these, like it can on other CR Readers? Also, does anyone have a source for service manuals?
Thanks.

Image plate calibration, ip centering may fix the problem but not always.
There are mini air filters in the suction cup assembly, the o-rings fail over time causing a vacuum leak.
If you have a hand held vacuum pump you can test the draw down vacuum by disconnecting the vac line from the pump and testing the vac with suction cups attached to an IP.
It should hold a vacuum, if it doesn't investigate where the vac leak is.
