If it's first generation and you log into windows with crservice login the password is the same as the crservice windows login, assuming some idiot didn't change the password.
I just can't figure out these geniuses who insist on changing the administrator and crservice passwords and then wonder why nx doesn't function.
It's like DUH, if you strip down the alf file you'll see the passwords for the crservice and administrator accounts embedded in it.

I have the manual for the CR30 but I need to know what version you have of the digitizer, 1st or 2nd generation.
If you are having a startup problem you may have a communication problem with NX especially if it's firewire communication. I've had problems with the firewire card. AGFA recently changed to a HP firewire card that has a power interface. There is also a cable length problem with the older firewire cards, you need to shorten the communication cable to 6', there is a 10' limit.
If it's second generation you need to look at the cpf file and make sure it matches the NX Configuration.
Also make sure windows firewall is turned off.

1st generation is a firewire cable from digitizer to NX workstation.
2nd generation is ethernet connected.
Also an e-mail address would be handy so I can send you the correct manual for your digitizer and proper software updates.

It's not really that difficult to tell me what version you have first or second generation. And it makes a difference so I know which manual to send you and what software I also send you. First gen manual won't work on a second gen digitizer and vice versa. And the same for the software one is not compatible with the other.
Again, I need to know if you have a firewire version or an ethernet version, firewire is 1st gen, ethernet is 2nd gen.
