Hi,
I need some help with error code 24314 & 24305 on AGFA CR-25.
First i got the error code 24305 while i was digitalizing a 14x17 cassete but when the cassete goes out makes a horrible noise an appears this error code 24305.
Then i restart the system and while the self-test is proceeding appears error code 24314, making a horrible noise too.
These error code are really not very telling as to where the problem is. They just state that something timed out before home position was reached. Have you tried starting the machine with the right side door off so you can watch all the mechanisms move to see which one is not moving properly. I suspect something broke off and may now be stuck causing it not to move correctly. I have seen the piece on the belt for cassette ejection break off and get stuck somewhere below causing gears to grind and self test to fail.
Thanks for your help, it was the spindle of the cassette unit that was showing the error because the spindle was dirty with no grease on it, i just clean it out and put some grease on the spindle and the error dissapear.

E_ALN_CMD_GH_WAITBUSY,
Reason : smh_wait_while_busy () failed.
Meaning : Waiting for the end of the homepositioning failed.
Most likely, this is due to a timeout.
Cure : Inform CSO-MED and restart the machine.

Reason : smh_wait_while_busy () failed
Meaning : Probably a timeout while waiting for the completion
of the homepos command during initialization.
Cure : Check Hardware.
