AGFA CR-25 NOT INITIALIZING

Hi,
I have a problem with an AGFA CR-25 that is not initializing, i just turn on and the screen shows the cursor on the left top corner and i never got the message "self test proceeding" i already change the 5-fold stepper motor board and is doing the same thing, also i checked the power supply and appears to have all the voltages OK. I tried to move the cassette unit to home position also the roller unit and anything happens.
I´ll appreciatte your help, to resolve this problem.

Maybe the harddisk is wrong or software.
Re-install software.

Probably the problem is the cr hard drive, you must change and reload the software

One of two issues: 1 the cr has lost it's software and it will need to be reloaded. 2. I have seen the cr do this if it has no network connection.

i have also quite same issue. cr-25 is staying self test screen and beginning initializing noise is coming and keeps noising. i know its sw problem. i tried to copy an other hdd to check hdd is ok or not. with new hdd starts normally everything perfect but after restart same story, self test screen holding and a noise. i also try to reload sw but no changes. i want to learn how to make virgin hdd sw load. i tried with windows xp pc to terminal communication but no succeed. do you have any idea?

you need 5 (five) disks ( HDD formatter portex 1 and2; system loader and syst machine specific data)and a rs232 link to machine (9600,8,n,1)

Firts to reload try check HDD with standard tools (I used HDD Regenerator shareware), it repairs bad sectors in hdd.
Cpu ( ariel or oberon board) is running? Leds shows activity?
