hi, the MDM is the densitometer, you can calibrate it in the control panel to level 2 or 3 maybe it everything, if not check the halogen lamp of the mdm, maybe is bad or not clean, it is in the right side of the machine.

MDM stands for"MACRODENSITOMETER". It is built-in to allow for constant image quality concerning Dmin, Dmax, sensitometry and vertical banding.
There are no adjustment procedures for the MDM but I would recommend you perform a full calibration of the MDM.
