AGFA DRYSTAR 3000 INPUT JAM

Our drystar 3000 keeps jamming films persistently.The films barely leaves the film holding unit.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hello, you need to check the holding unit, there are gears that moves a shaft with roller, probably adjust. Asuume that dosent reach the printing thermal head?

I have had that problem many times, it is usually dust in the roller.
It has nothing to do with the films, the drystar monitors the time the film takes to leave the holding unit. If roller motor doesn't have the correct force or the system doesn't make enough pressure over the film it moves slower and will not complete the process on time, so the printer will display FILM JAM error.
Extract the transportation roller clean it carefully, then clean the optical detector, lubricate the whole system with WD40 and finally use alcohol to clean the plastic roller.
