Unit intermittently exposes OK and may not expose during the next attempt. It then registers error 45 and declares low battery on the display window. During 'prep' the battery voltage drops from 113V to 110V. The battery stays around 109V - 110V during an exposure. It appears that the batteries are OK. What would be the next area to check?
Correct me if I am wrong. I understand that if I drop by more than 17V at full exposure then I should change batteries. My batteries were only changed 1 year ago. I will compare this voltage drop with one of our good working unit.
It may be that you have loose connections on the battery set if they were just replaced one year ago.
If the batteries are older they should be able to hold a charge, one simple test is to turn unit on and turn the light on repeatedly (10 mins or so, light on every two mins.), the bar graph should not go down. if it goes down then check battery capacity.
May need to re-cal the battery voltage feedback, you'll have to do a complete calibration afterwards but it's only 2-3 hours work and doen't cost much.

You are dropping too much battery voltage during prep. Should drop 2 at maximum. Replace the entire battery set. sam@amxrayservice.com
