need help!!! amx4 test when on until 04 ok, display batterie full , 116 volt a batteries breaker ?
When prep the display shows low batteries recharge the batteries!!! instead of xray ready : what happened? and no xray even if i hear all the relay closing when prep like normal,, what to do?
Sounds like a bad set of batteries. Put your meter over the breaker and what do they drop down to during the prep? The battery meter gets "lost" quite often in the amx4.
By failing Test 4 anything past that is unreliable for trouble-shooting. Unless you are in service mode how are you prepping when you have drives only available...Hmmm?
Batteries usually last about 5 to 8 years under normal conditions. There have been many different types and brands of batteries used in the AMX-4 system. Genesis, Panasonic individually installed and jumper cabled to each other. Then a battery test board with leads going up to a terminal strip under the top cover so you could check each individual batttery voltage. Now there are two tray pre-cabled sets that are easy to remove to test / check. You may have one bad battery or a poor connection to one battery. During Prep (rotor) there should only be a 4-6Volt drop at the circuit breaker. During and exposure voltage drop shouldn't be more than 16-18 volts. If there are a few (3 or more)bad batteries and they are over 5 years old you should replace the entire set. If only one or two are bad and the set is young, you can change just those batteries. IF the batteries are young and you found a loose connection or changed one one (two) batteries you should still load Defaults and perform a complete calibration, batt volt, drive handle, gen cal, etc. If a new set is installed you have to load defaults and perform a complete calibration.
A quick test to check the batteries if you pulled them out, connect a DZE or FCS lamp to your meter leads, this will but a good load on a single 12v battery. Should not blow the lamp. Don't directly at the lamp it gets very bright.
Thanks to all for answering in fact it come from the batteries they could not stand the charge and the voltage drop when x ray ....just have to change theme they are on order regards

I agree, sounds like you need new batteries. You have no capacity left.

Test 4 failure means the calibration is lost. Resides in the NV Ram chip on the CPU pcb.
