I have a problem with a AMX-4 it shows test 4 error and when I go in to check calibration it shows check sum err 11 only I have calibrated this part at lease 4 or 5 times and still the same problem. Need some help on this problem.
Thanks
Larry
Larry,
Whenever we have something weird with AMX-IV cal. We go into cal and charge the batts. To about 127-130V. Then we reload defaults and recal all params. You need either a G.E. Bleeder tank or a very good noninvasive kv meter to read kv. Unfors makes a good kv meter. I also have had problems with the battery backed RAM chips on the cpu board that holds cal data. Hope this helps. I have worked on these for 15 years and have seen it all! You also need to get the error code list for these that G.E. compiled with field service feedback. Good luck!

Larry,
Did you calibrate at the correct battery voltage?
If you did and you still have a problem then the tube could be defective.
Paul.
