Hello:
I have a problem with a GE HiSpeed DX/i CT scanner. It doesn't boot. The system Hard Disk Drive got damaged, I can't do anything with it, not even formating, so I replaced the disk with another one, same make and model (IBM DDRS 4 GB) and tried to load the software, but always gets stuck at the same step:
Creating Disk partitions automatically...
Ensuring the unnecesary partitions are unmounted...
Initializing Raw Data Disk...
Failure:could not find Disk Drive: unit 1 on scsi controller 3
I have replaced the system disk drive with another and the same happens, I have replaced the Raw Data Disk and it happens the same. I have tried performing labeling and repartition and even Formatting the disk and it always happens the same
I noticed I have a Red LED turned ON in the PCI SCSI Card Controller and was wondering if it is a normal status or an indication of a failure. Any comments or sugestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all of you
Elias

Do not do much with system disk as it looks OK. You have problem with Raw Data Disk.
During software load you can find that system checks for raw data disk if it doesn;t find the raw data disk then you have problem with it. Replace the disk with correct model only otherwise system will not accept.

You mean the SCSI Controller (Adaptec AHA-2940W/2940UW Assy. 917306-44)outside the O2 computer in the PCI Motherboard?
