Our Philips BV 25 C-arm has a problem of working properly for 5 to 10 minutes then down.Then it starts again and down again after 5 to 10 minutes.Can anyone guide our technician ? Local Philips agent said they did not support the system anymore.
because the way you explain your problem, i can guess there is a problem in the power supply, so, please connect a voltmeter where you can check voltages and spend your time by watching such a voltmeter, i am sure after the time you said before, voltmeter reading will show you some lower readings than initial one.
i dont have the technical manual in order to indicate specific measuring points or others sugestions.
A common problem with the BV25 was the connection to the camera tube - the plastic ring which holds it in place will allow camera tube to shift - thus it would lose contact and there would be no image - after moving arm or leting sit it would start to work again - also the main power supply of the TV system could be failing
