BV 300 has error "DFI Application not started, software inconsistant or not loadable". We dont have manuals or software for this system. Can someone contact me that can either load software for me or assist me in doing so. Thanks

first enter service mode and see carm ip address and configure laptop to static ip within the BV network scheme and connect to service port using crossover cable and then reboot carm for connection using explorer and connect using the target "carm"Ip address.This will connect you to a working dfi.There are other ways to connect but you probably want to consider calling Philips

I figured that software needs reloading but do not have software and am being told by Philips that the system was end of life in 2010 so they don't have software either.

That is not true, i haved same proble 1 month ago and the sofware is allready to load,if you have the license original of your C arm ,you can do the reloading

You need reload sofware ,for this you need software called X-Scope also need too know the license number for this BV300 and also need license to use X-Scoipe or hardware key.
I assume that you dont have any.

I could use some guidance in the DFI software reload process. I installed XScope, connected, entered fault finding and ran the BIST without issue, but when I attempt to install the DFI software The error I receive indicates "No lower sections for this item" leaving me to believe I need a hardware key; Is the hardware key universal to all units or do you need one that matches your serial number? And where do you locate your Software license key? Your assistance is appreciated. Happy to send a gift card or other fair compensation.
