C-Arm Fluoroscope Technical Advice

Hello All,

My Physician is interested in purchasing a C-Arm for his practise. I would highly appreciate everyon's input.

He is considering the following vendors:

1. Zheim
2. Siemens
3. GE OEC
4. Philips

He is considering either purchasing a Brand New C-Arm or refurbished depending on the pricing. He is looking to use for Pain Management Procedures where High resolution images need to be obtained.

Please let me know your expert advice for the following questions:

1. Which would be the best vendor favourable with respect to pricing, service and warrant?

2. Which vendors provides good after sale service?

3. Which Model type would be best suitable for his practise, where high res images and ease of functionability are important factors?

4. Are there any considerations, when it comes to the room size? Does the room need to be shielded?

5. What are the important features when purchasing a C-arm machine from a vendor?

6. What concerns should we bare in mind when purchasing a C-Arm from a vendor?

Any other things that we need to consider please dont hesitate to let me know.
