Cannot run FAST CAL on VCT 64, error code 260132912
December 12, 2016 04:40
On FAST CAL I get the following message. Calibration not allowed, the detector is not at the proper temperature. Please contact GE Service. I was told to download the error log and scan it for the error code in the subject. Can anyone help me with the procedure to download the error log? I haven't been to service class since 2012. Also any ideas what could be wrong?

Access service menu and go to error log and store log should allow you to store the log to DVD.
Use an ohm meter to measure resistance of temperature sensors (there are 3 of them) in the DAS (detector frame). Remove the fan assembly to access the temperature sensors. Disconnect the sensor and attach the meter then use a heat gun and watch for a change in resistance. Repeat the same procedure for the other sensors, they should all respond the same way.
