Chattanooga Hydrocolator E-1 Mod 2102

I am having an issue with my Hydrocolator, where it seems to keep turning off. There are two lights on the front of it. The top light is orange and when it is lit, the unit is heating and working fine. The bottom light is red and when it is lit, the unit turns off. I have to hit the reset button on the side to make it turn back on. But, it seems it is turning off more often now. It is a real problem because there have been several times I needed to use it and it was off and cold. Any suggestions?

you had problem with it's thermal cut-off protection, you might need to replace it, or first try to measure the temp it maybe too high that is why the thermal cut-off is tripping, you may also defeat the thermal cut-off but that's not ideal (safe) or you may do it for testing purpose only...
