Hello dears
I am installing a CONTINENTAL TM30 Xray device but have a problem, in the operator console ther is a permanent HOLD signal which inhibits any xray generation atempts, we can select a techinique but when press the preparation switch a 84 flag apears in the LCD display. The description of the falg 81 is that the tube would be to hot and have to allow cool but we didnt made even one shoot so the xray tube is copletely cold. We already connected all the cables and interlocks. Does any one knows wh the HOLD indicator is always present? could some one have more information about?
Thansk beforehand
Flag 84 = FACTORS WILL EXCEED TUBE HEAT LIMIT
Flag cleared by reducing tube power or by allowing tube to cool.
* Is it possible that there is an open tube thermal interlock?
email me if you want some training documentation.

Definitely sounds like tube thermal interlock. Also look at tube programming. If you have incorrect tube programmed and you set techniques to where it's above tube rating you will get the error. Check your ABC's
