When i make exposure the machine show error flag #14 KV unbalanced, i already check the HT cables and X-ray tube I need some tip in order to help me .I will appreciate any advice. Thank you Ramon Diaz

Check the inverter circuit in the generator. Specifically the driver transistors.
And I seem to remember that that error can be caused by a bad driver transistor in the filament circuit too.

YOU NEED TO CHECK KV WITH A VOLTAGE DIVIDER.VERIFY THAT THE POS. AND NEG. ARE EQUAL,I HAVE HAD BAD HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER...SCOTT

The hi-voltage transformer on these generators had a high rate of failure. Replacements are difficult to find.

RAMON I HAVE HAD THIS BEFORE, YOU CAN MEASURE THE ACTUAL KV WITH A DIVIDER TANK .LOOK AT PLUS AND NEG> WAVE FORM THEY MUST BE EQUAL IF NOT THE TANK WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED..I HAVE ATTEMPTED TO ISOLATE PROBLEM IN THE TRANSFORMER AND BELIEVE IT TO BE THE WINDINGS,BUT NOT SURE.

Hugh Hudson,His number is 971-404-4634. He is retired tech support from Hologic He's the best you may need to give him a P.O. but usually he can tell you whats wrong or what to do in 5 min. If it gets really involved then you may need to get him a P.O.
