I have a MX8000 with the following problem:
After reinstallation, we tried to power on.
We made a new software installation on the system. Everything seems to be ok. But by opening the Application, it tries to initialise and during that it cannot open the study.exe.
Network connection are ok, i can ping to each other, everything seems to be ok.

Hi Everybody:
I have a problem with a mx8000 quad. As soon as I made a surview, the image appears cuted by an big dot and the scanning message continues and I have to force it to close the exam. Sometimes the connection with the IRS get lost.
The message in the log file is Dump2Pipe error (from the IRS). I have made de DMC test for 3 IRS boards: system, expansion 1 and 2 and finally appears a message saying that there are problems in the test working with the CE2, possible board the Mercury System (this ct has an Old revision Mercury System Board).
I really hoped this was the only problem of this Dump2Pipe error message, so I got a system board, but this was a New Revision one. The manual says it can be changed between with no problem, so I just payed attention to the jumpers and connected it. Finally when I start the ct, the 24 sharcs couldt start , neither the scsi server, neither the possibility to format the scsi disks, and a message Master server Failed appeared when tried to enter to application. So, worst than my original bad Mercury system.
My question is if someone had any experience with this Dump2pipe error, or if problems with CE2 are definitely from the Mercury system, and also is there any additional procedure when changing this board?? On page 133 of SM says that each board has a unique serial number which has to be entered in a configuration file. But it doesnt says anything else abot it. If it is so, do anyone know the procedure to do this.
I would really appreciatte any help about this.
