I have a guy in NY city who works on Toshiba Aquilion 64 systems. I was wonder how much training he would need to also work on GE VCT systems. Are they similar from a service/repair perspective?
Great Question Dale! I get this asked all the time. I have trained several Toshiba engineers to work on the GE VCT Platform and the only real similarities are that the tubes are both anode end grounded and that they are both CT scanners! That's about as far as it goes...To truly train your engineer, so that he is comfortable and proficient on the GE Platform generally takes 4-5 days. We do offer GE VCT Training classes regularly and would be willing to accommodate you with this technical training.
