Can somebody help me locate detector power supply in GE CT/e? Sometimes,I am getting several horizontal lines on scout image & a large ring artifact outside the image area. The display window also goes off scale. The problem disappears after switching off the complete supply to the PDU & switching On again. Sometimes we have to switch OFF & ON PDU supply several times to get rid of this problem. The machine is a 200V power supply.
I presume it is the detector power supply, which may be posing this problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciate.
yes,
the problem maybe come like this way:
When the Fan for the detector board( CAM BOARD)is bad or dirty, the CAM borads will get hot, this will make some artifact for the image. When you switch off the power, it will cool down, and back to normal.
What is your phone? I call you for this.

It is located just behind the detector on the slip ring. It is in a perforated metal box.
