CT/e Dual

January 20, 2016 03:57

Hello,

I have circle artifacts in the images, but the weird thing is that sometimes I get perfect images. On the Service window, there is a Offset SD in RED.

I'm performing the Air & Water phantom cals in case the database is bad.

Does anybody know about the Offset SD in RED part?

Did you change DAS power supply?

Offset SD in red means its value is greater than 3.5. You are having large offset noise during rotation possibly due to unstable detector channel output or large channel noise (DAS).

Check the following on the detectors:
1. Module mounting
2. Loose flex cable-you may have to reset or cable connections.
3. Vibrations.

As for the DAS:
1. It could be a channel output failure. Perform scan analysis to determine which channels are failing.
2. Could be GND Noise
3. Generator periodical noise
4. Cover vibrations
5.Data Transfer Error - perform Data Transfer Tests to confirm.

I noticed that dust can have a massive effect on the CAM Boards, so remove them, check all pins, dust them thoroughly but carefully and reseat them.

If all the above pass but the error remains, then you may have a problem with the following: Receiver, Transmitter, DDRF, DASIFN, Slip Ring.

Good luck
