CTe no rays

November 28, 2015 07:20

HI everybody,
This CTe was facing dead NVRAM problem. after re-installing alive one and restored the data on it, the errors disappeared.
but the problem is that the system can't do warmup. I mean the gantry rotates and all thing are appear to be as in normal, but the exposure button on the keyboard doesn't lit so no exposure order happen and than after while it gives an error(on/off rotor time out).
In offline scan,after setting xray and rotor to OFF, the exposure button lit and it makes offline scan without error.
the system is acting like if the XG power is switched off (But it is not off).
checked:
1-ACDC= 580V
2- all neons of the Snub, command, rotor... are on
3- fuse is ok
4-kvctrl is ok, lits successive without problem
5-OGP without error ( i mean before the long waiting time for exposure order)
6- signal/power brushes are clean
7-have changed rotor board
8-time of system and generator are matched

any advice is so appreciated

stay well

Usually any error appears on the desk log. Did you hear if rotor Works?

You need to do several offline scans at different techniques for small and large filament. Do 10 exposures on each 80, 100, 120 kV. Select different mAs 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 mAs. After all these exposures, you will be able to work with out problems

Thanks! but the problem the exposure button doesn't flash in case of offline scan + rotor on +xray on.
The sequence is normal, rotation then gantry movement and then next step is missed exposure button !!!!!!!!
- No load test pass;
- Rotor test says there is error on right side; but in error log nothing showed up(anyway i have changed the rotor PCB with a good one);
- The heater test says the same thing, error on right side but no error showed up in error log(also we have changed the heater).
at start up all keyboard buttons lit(means i guess all circuits are on)!!!!!!
any advice is appreciated.

stay well

I am still confused with those NVRAMs; they supposed to be new.
is there anyway to check if they are good or not? I didn't get any error during the database download to them!!!!!!!

Ok! good way to sea that is a date. if correct it's saving and work fine.
Try do " reconfig " on shell, because beyond save date it's saving other things like a memorie size etc
