Traying to startingup GE CT/e aplicación software, never starts, After OS Linux is started, a window appears: Welcome to LINUX, and ask for login and password. Does any body know why?
You may need to remove some *ICE files which may got created because of abnormal shutdown of the system few times. So do it like this.
Press Ctrl + Alt + F2 simultaneously. Login as ctuser with password suisie. Change login to superuser with command su and password #bigguy. Now go to directly /usr/g/ctuser and excute command: rm .ICE*
Choose Y when system prompt for answer. This will clear all core files created and power cycle the console. Hope this iwll solve your problem.
I hope you can help me diagnosing the problem in CT/e single slice.
1- Image construction is hung up after 4 to 5 images is displayed .
Then the problem exaggerated to be:
2- On switching system on , no display on the console screen and the digits on gantry only counting 1,2 3, . this process goes on and repeated over as long as the system on.
