I'm having a problem with a CTi unit, I'm getting error 253802 which says,
The data contained in the views were not in the correct DAS format: Possible causes: SCOM/FEP coax & connections, DAS, SCOMM OR FEP.
I have already try the FEP bd., Buffer stationary board, The SCOMM bd. located in the STC, control bd. in DAS, Check Fifer optics, Check 12v power supply on Stationary buffer board and check all power supplies on DAS and still have the same error. I'm running out of Ideas.

You need to clean the SLIPRING with a special rubber ..or use ISOPROPILIC ALCOHOOL , remove the DATA and power brushes from the SLIPRING ( YOU MUST REMOVE THESE PARTS BECAUSE YOU CAN GET THE BRUSHES POLLUTED ? ALSO WHEN YOU USE iSOPROPILIC ALCOHOOL YOU MUST WAIT 15 MINUTES BEFORE TO SWITCH ON THE POWER ON THE GANTRY .... YOU MUST HAVE THE SLIPRING WITHOUT ANY LIQUID AND MUST BE DRY ...If not you will have a damaged SLIPRING due to the power conducting between the rings !!!!! and then use a good paper or a good piece of FABRIC which will not let some dust on the SlipRING ...use the Isopropilic Alcohool with the good fabrice and then Clean and remove all the dust and black powder and dirties ...
I dont know where is your country but by experience try to do the following ACTIONS
**** CLEAN THE SLIPRING and check the DATA BRUSHES if they are GOOD and without any dirties
***** Reset all the DAS BOARD
*****CHECK THE FIBER OPTIC CABLE if it is OK ..Just use a light and somebody on the other end of the cable check if the LIGHT is full and strong when you put the light on the other end of the fiberoptic ..
***** RUN DAS TEST and check the communication and also do it STATIONARY ( just switch off the AXIAL rotation switch ) and let the test running
**** then ping to SBC and run the SLIPRING COMMUNICATION

did you try to reseat the aux channel filter cards in the DAS?
