Remember to back up and write down "ALL" system setings before you do anything, IP add, collimator data, user preferences and more.
Boot Standalone Irix Disk Partitioning Utility
(1) Insert the IRIX 6.2 (V3.20a) All Indigo2 Impacttm CD into the CDROM drive.
A message should be on the screen that says:
ok to power off the system now.
The next step requires two selections in quick succession. You may only have
three seconds between selections.
Please read carefully before proceeding.
You will first be selecting Restart to bring up the system. A message may
appear about running power up diagnostics. Then a window will come up
about starting up the system. There will be a small button in the right hand
corner: [Stop for Maintenance]. You will use the mouse to quickly
press this button.
(2) You should now select Restart and Stop for Maintenance.
If you stopped the bootup in time, the host maintenance menu will appear:
Start System
Install System Software
Run Diagnostics
Recover System
Enter Command Monitor
Select Keyboard Layout
