hi good day!!
I have done the following series of calibration below with our CT/i indigo 2;
qcal - success
xtalk cal - succes
av cal - success
das tools test - success (no error)
FAST CAL - has an error.
the log windows give this error msgs.
-error245551
-file:tl_fep_events.m1.18
-funtion:Data Acq :SBC Processing
-FEP requested scan abort
-error245043
-Scanning System Aborted Scanning
-Axial scan status message:iews expected 984-viewscollected 0
-DSP0 detected overflow & underflow at line 356 ,input views 0
-dsp1 (same of the above)
this messages comes out after pressing the scan button.
dear all
If you did all the DAS test without any errors , then perform all the cals without any errors ...The problem could be a corrupted cal files..Can you please save all these new cals on the MOD and then restore a very old systems state cals ...then try to make a Scout view ...check if it is OK and then make an axial scan and check if you have not any artefact ..
It could be a reference DAS convertor board is faulty or the new calibration done not good
The errors means no XRAY and also no view data transfert from the OBC to the STC and then to the FEP board ..
Any help dont hesitate to contact me
Good luck
Azed
this machine is working before.
i dont have the backup system state mod because the mod drive before is not working.
-this is the history
1.during boot up ,the monitor goes blank.
2.i reload the software(irix6.2 ver3.21c) and application(4.4.19 m4)(patch for 384mb memory)
3.i got the same problem, and found out that the solid gfx board has a problem.
4.dont have the solid gfx board but have a high impact gfx board(means that,i used this 2 gfx boards in one cpu and the system boot up normally)
-is this the reason that i encountered this problem? or software problem?
Dear friend
You did a very good work ..yes when the Gfx board is faulty for the RX monitor you cannot boot up the system and get panic errors ..This pbs can happens ..You have no problem with the computer Indigo2 or SBC ...
For me if you ran all DAS TESTS and the cals and had NO ERRORS means the system is OK ...
But may be you forgot to declare the XRAYtube
Please check at ezlog from unix window if you have the XRAY TUBE declered ...if you reloaded the software without old system state ..may be this is the problem
Send me also all the errors with MOST SEVERE
Good luck
Azzeddine
If you performed all qcals and xtalk then your calibration files are empty. A fast cal assumes that the cal files have something in them and then performs a daily variant adjusment on the EXISTING cal files. You cannot do a fastcal on empty calibration files. This "could" be your problem. Try performing a full air and phantom calibration on one KV station, 120kv for example. If this works then you can go back and perform a full calibration on the other KV stations.
I have many solutions to send them according to the errors 245551 or 245043 but the files are little heavy ..Can you send me your e-mail so i can send you all the files and solutions
There is something that is perturbing scanning or Fastcal in your SBC disk ..
You know also thet the Cals files are stored in the RAW DATA SBC DISK , the SBC1 disk with SCSI 1 ..Did you tried to replace the Raw data disk drive ? it could be you have bad blocks Also it could be that you have a DIGITAL CONTROL BOARD in the HP DAS that the LED is making a short circuit because it is broken, try to unsolder the LED.Also it could be you have a bad SCOMM board . or a bad DAS POWER SUPPLY .
Have a nice day and good luck
I still waiting your feedback and have the possibility to help YOU ..If you fixed the problem please let me known so we can stop searching for you !!!!
If yes you dont need any help please can you say what was the faulty parts ...Thank you
Azed
You are welcome ..But i dont think that the problem is coming from the graphic board ..But anyway you can try ... Please if you can send me your private e-mail i already prepared the solutions for your problem which could ne DAS , RAWDATA disk drive ...
Dont hesitate to contact me ..I will help You friendly
Good luck and regards Have a nice day and success
Sincerely
Azzeddine
i want you to update regarding with my problem.
i try to get a set of hardisk drive that has a calibration loaded and its working without error.
i did a scan phantom and i got an image.
this testing is just for troubleshooting purpose only. what is your suggestion regarding with my original drives?
i properly set all the pin settings of my hdd.
i try to save the system state on mod drive(maxoptics) but theres a message "this is an image archive mod do not attemp to mount". i used a blank mod(maxoptics).
Good day my friend
So the problem was Hard disk drive ..About the MOD i give you the procedure how to format the MOD ..because when you use the MOD for saving exams the computer refuse that you will use the MOD for the SYSTEM state ...only on GE MILWAUKEE SYSTEM you have this protection
So open a unix shell
put the MOD in the MOD drive
prompt> su - (become root)
Dear friend
You have one bad disk DRIVE ..So if you replace only the RAW DATA DISK DRIVE ( the disk is always more or equal to 2 GBYTES...) you just need to do reconfig with REGEN DATA BASE YES and then restore the system state ..because the Cals are in the RAW DATA disk drive ..For me you have only the RAW DATA disk drive defective ..because the SBc disk is ok and you can scan ..
So please format the MOD and then save all the system state in 2 MOD for safety ..
You finished your work
You have only bad disk drive located SCSI ID 1 just after the SBC disk drive which can be 1 gbyte
regards and welcome
Azzeddone
Dear frien
Unfortunately YOU HAVE only the MOD way for saving the SYSTEM STATE ...
Also you can use only MOD with the format 512 Bytes/sector and either 2,3 GB or 1,2 GByte on the GE milwaukee systems
The MOD costs 20 USD each ..Always keep in safe place one MOD with all the system state saved and use an another MOD for saving every month the system State for safety
have a nice day and really happy to see that you fix the issue
Azzeddine
i load the calibration file to the new set of hardisk drive and i get an image scan, but after the fastcal scan im getting this error "dsp0:possible old version of block channel data present. left-right ratio was 24.correct by running aircal fastcal".
and i cannot do image scan anymore.
You have a bad CALS or bad disk drive ..Why you dont replace only the RAW DATA DISK DRIVE and run RECONFIG with REGEN DATA BASE YES ...
The problem is you have some cals are missing due may be from the origine bad disk drive.
Did you ran the DASTEST in Auto mode ? if you have not any Error that means you still having problem in the SBC DISK DRIVES in the OC console.
Can you reload only the SBC software and try to restore the System state ?
Can you before just ran FASTCAL only and see if the Cals are valid in service mode ?
Can you send me your private e-mail so i can send you the solutions at your problem
See you
Azzeddine
i am happy that you find the bad disk drive and fixed the CT ..Always you MUST have 3 disk drives on the CT/I with YOU or 2 disk drives ST39216N if you can ..So you can install them and replace the OC or SBC0 or SBC1 disk drives ..It is more easy if you can prepare them and when you have a problem just run reconfig and fix the issue ..
Anyway Happy that you fixed your problem ...You are very good.
bests regards
Azzeddine
Hi
You can also go to the service mode and then click on tubestat or TubeUsage and verify if the XRAY tube is declared and can see it in TubeSTATE or tubeusage ..if not you just need to enter the serial number of the XRAY tube restart the computer and then perform GENERATOR AUTO Calibration ..
Anyway i will help you to find the pb.
Take care
Azed
-yes, after the software loading i declared the tube using newTu program and performed the install new tube scan.
-run also the generator autocal without errors
-run also the hot ISO.
-using ezlog, the info of the tube is already there and tells the slices used.

This could be a DAS or Slip-Ring problem. Check the rings, clean them and make sure the brushes are good too.

wait about 3 minutes
prompt> mkfsMOD
Wait until you get the prompt
This is a script that will partition and build a file system on an MOD.
This will of course destroy any data on that side of the disk.
The script is at:
/usr/g/ctuser/bin/mkfsMOD
happy to see that you found the pb and th pb was on the disk drive
good luck

following error occurs Not enough free spcae can not load network software
when i try to connect to SBC i type the command cu sbc but following error occured connect failed: cant't access
device
i have tried all the procedure from LFC but still same problem i have tried to bring it to the MC6080> prompt but
still nothing happened still same problem
but when i use the command rsh sbc and reconfig the sbc and after st so during initialization system goes shut down
itself .
NOTE:
when i have loaded the application software so after that when i open the unix shell so an message
appeared executing install.dasm no dasm's found
so please help me i'll wait for your reply
2_) Dear friend i have lost the system state also of cti indigo2 system and and the oc disk drive have been crashed
i have
replace the disk drive and loaded the software from cold so i have lost my system state so now i have loaded the
software but i have no system state but there is need of the system state so what should i do now there is the
method to restore files in the LFC but how should i access the unix shell with crash disk drive so please tell me
