I tried to do so ,but amazingly , the service log is not functioning .
Let me tell you what happened from the beginning !
The problem :
Both HDDs are damaged ,so there is no booting of software at all .
I changed both HDDs and made LFC procedure ; I loaded the OS ( CTT 4.5.1) and installed the application SW ( 3.12 ).
After rebooting ,I wanted to install patches ,so I inserted the CD in DVD RAM and clicked on INSTALL SOFTWARE , a window appears " do you want to load from DVD " I clicked on YES . After 10 seconds a window appears says " Timeout.... check CD-ROM drive "
Dismiss .
please note that DVD RAM is configured and it is the only booting device installed in the system .
So , how the system dose not detect the DVD-RAM drive ??
SYSTEM dose not start up , because HINV ERROR appears as power test failer . i think that is because DBPCI is not detected by system .
I can not install patches ,which are important at this stage , because the application software dose not find the DVD-RAM drive !!!

The system is CT/e Scanner
On starting up :
1- Power test failure takes place .
2- The DBPCI error is displayed .
How I can make sure ( check ) the DBPCI is defective ?

Hi! Did you try run the H/W diagnostics test section " off line DBPCI test". I think it 'll be fine to check

Some times the message "dismiss" appears. You must rentry again install software.

In fact ,I suspect the OS ( CTT 4.5.) is bad because the CD is a copy not original .

If you have a " complete" message appears on display. No problem with OS core.Wich version functional check you have?
