would any one please tell me the steps how to install DBPCI in GE CT/e Scanner
Manual says that when ' YOU HAVE 5 seconds for application to start ' message appears , click cancel .
when this message appears ?
I really do not understand how to proceed .
DBPCI Tool Software VR1.0 for software VR2.19 or R2.2x
Procedures
1. Reboot the system.
2. When "You have 5 seconds to cancel application startup......" message appears, click on Cancel.
3. Insert the CD-ROM (Patch Software) into the DVD-RAM drive.
4. Open a shell.
5. Type the following responses to the indicated prompts:
a. su -
b. #bigguy
c. mount /dev/dvd /mnt/cdrom
d. cd /mnt/cdrom/bin
e. ./installDBPCI2
6. Type the following to eject the CD-ROM when ‘installation successfully’ displays.
a. cd /
b. umount /mnt/cdrom
c. eject
d. exit
7. Shutdown to restart the system.
8. The information displays: “Set DBPCI2 finished.”.

You need Insert the Cd DBPCI TOOL in the drive after this open a shell Window and follow the steps I send to you.
