Delivery issues

Lately all I have been hearing is how slow this or that country's mail system.
Stop and think about it for a moment, you will then realize that there other means of mail transmission like for sending payment options.
There is Fed/Ex, UPS, Airborn Express, Silver Eagle, DXL just to mention a few.

If you can't find satisfactory delivery options with your local mail delivery system, there other delivery options available rather than complaining about one service taking too long to deliver to you.
Find one that dosen't take as long.

Eric, you might not realize all these named services like FEDEX, DHL etc might be quite expensive for some other countries life standards and these shipping courriers deliver only to major cities. For example to sent the Fedex envelope to Russia from US (same thing from Russia to US) cost about $50 and it is about 1 week of average salary in regions, and equipment shipments would be costly as well, so no wonder that a lot of companies and individuals would prefer another shipping alternatives, may be much slower and less reliable but also more affordable.

Not to mention that Russian Customs still operate under "grease my hand" method. That means that if you want your shipment to be sent untouched by customs and unlooted you have to bribe those uniformed crooks. And even then you're not guaranteed that you package will be delivered intact and on time...

I have a simple mathematical formula for you

Cost(slow + Unreliable)>Cost(fast + reliable)

If you are shipping a $50,000.00 PIECE OF EQUIPMENT, You would at least want the equipment to arrive in useable condition.
Also if sending $50,000.00 payment you would at least expect that $50.00 for secure shipment, that is I know that I would.
True there are escarow services for payment transactions.
