Directview CR825 not completing boot up

Can someone help me with a CR825 unit? It does not complete boot up. OS loads, but gets stuck at Application window. Screen says Carestream DirectView CR System. Progress bar stops about 4/5 of the way thru. I assume it in not finding some hardware, but I don't know what. I believe app software is V5.6. with an HP computer.
