There are two reasons by the "System Failure Error" The H.D. has damage or the Themis Card is bad.
To know what happening with your printer you can connect with serial port, open a terminal PC or Putty and try with this config. vel:9600 stopBits:1 DataBits:8 Parity:none, Flow Control: Xon/Xoff.
And the terminal show up more information about the boot process.

Drystar 5500 System Failure

I have a drystar 5500 that fails to boot up. It starts the self test and just stops giving a message "ERROR System Failure" have any clues?
