My facility has a Hologic Selenia Dimensions Mammo unit and a Drystar AXYS printer with 8x10 and 10x12 film. We had temporarily ran out of 8x10 film so were printer on 10x12 only. We did this by unchecking the auto print size box on the Hologic unit and manually checking the 10x12 box. Upon getting new 8x10 film the printer will only print on 10x12 and the QC values have changed. Even if I select 8x10 it prints on a 10x12. I've spoken with Hologic and they have assured me that it must be a printer issue. I've tried recalibrating the film, changing the tray sizes, turning the unit off, etc. Nothing has worked so far.
I have seen this same issue and it turned out to be the Hologic if you have a system backup restore it. For some odd reason when you unchecked the auto print function it disabled the film size auto detect and is using the 10x12 as default
