Is anyone experiencing premature camera failure in Philips Easy Diagnost Imaging Systems. Our XTV 21 Camera Head 4522 163 27945 seems to be going out every year. We are not under a service agreement and we feel that it is not power related. I am curious if others are experiencing this issue on or off of a service agreement.
What is "going out" on the camera? There are several known problems on XTV19-21 cameras. Let me know the exact problem and I will let you know if it is one of these problems.
Both systems experienced the same basic symptoms, for a few weeks prior to a total failure we would get TV/II (TV/Image Intensifier) not ready, error log would say camera control self test failed, reboot system and system would boot up and work all day.
