0023 - NVRAM was corrupt. Either the battery or the device itself is bad. This also can be caused by turning the power off from the back or pulling the plug.
The time and date is kept on the NVRAM chip M48T08-150PC1 with an internal battery on the board A6B. This NVRAM also hold the system boot up parameters which includes an IP address to recognize an APM is being used with the system. If battery is died (his life ~10 year), then you need to replace chip and reprogram your NVRAM.
To configure NVRAM setting and APM IP address, you will need a computer/laptop with COM-port (Windows XP, Hyperterminal or Putty) and DB9 F/F Null-Modem cable.
If you do not need to configure the network interface of the device, you can try to install a new chip and set only the date / time from the device software.
