Hello. There was an error 3 appearing at the back of Acuson Aspen. What am I supposed to do with that error? I did component level repair on main dc power supply. There were no defective components. What are the other solutions? Thanks and God bless!
System shuts down with an Error Code “3”
displayed (i.e., Main Power Supply CODC overcurrent).
One or more of the DC power supplies is shorted to ground, or to another DC voltage. Check for power supply shorts by measuring the impedance of appropriate power supply outputs with the system off and AC power
disconnected.
Dear Mendoza:
Check for shorted capacitors on the boards, not the source.
I have found capacitors short in several different boards, are usually those who are at the entrance the tensions to the plates.
