Error code E 4512 or E4511

4511 E Film jam has occurred in the sub-scan unit. Film is jammed at the V-sync sen-sor. • Justification unit nip operation failure. • Justification transport motor damaged, or poor connection. • Justification nip home sensor damaged, or poor connection. • V-sync sensor damaged, or poor connection. • Sub-scan motor damaged, or poor connection. • Sub-scan entry/exit nip solenoid damaged, or poor connection. • Check operation and, if damaged, replace the sub-scan unit (including the justification unit). • Check cable bundle connections and operation: if dam-aged, replace. • Check cable bundle connections and operation: if dam-aged, replace. • Check cable bundle connections and operation: if dam-aged, replace. • Check cable bundle operation and connections and, if damaged, replace the sub-scan unit (including the justifi-cation unit). • Check cable bundle operation and connections and, if damaged, replace the sub-scan unit (including the justifi-cation unit).

Film remains at the V-SYNC sensor. 11/12 depends on which film size is processing. V-SYNC sensor is optical sensor triggered by a phisical flag, so, check the proper function of sensor aand its flag when film is passing by. Check conections and function of transportation motor and Mecanical control board. V-SYNC is located at the entrance of the HPRO unit (just before the laser unit). Open right cover , where you find the film when the errors ocurrs and you`ll find it at the inside top.
